Bertil Persson started his professional IT career at Ericsson in 1995 after achieving a Bachelors Degre of Engineering with a major in Applied Electronics at the Umeå University. One of his first projects was to replace an SNA network with this new protocol TCP/IP among IBM veterans shaking their heads being very sceptical.
Bertil has been working for several networking and security vendors such as HP, Extreme Networks, Fortinet and VMware prior to joining SonicWall in August. The modern IT era with working from anywhere accessing data residing anywhere comes with security challenges that he has a passion for finding the right and optimal solution to for the customers.
